You know you are someone special at Mulligan’s Raw Bar & Grille as soon as you walk in the door of the restaurant.  Our friendly and efficient staff creates that easy going Outer Banks feeling that visitors look forward to year after year.  The Owner, Gus Zinovis, is always around to meet and greet new customers and those old friends that come in two or three times during their vacation every summer.  He never forgets a face or a friend.

Gus Decided to move the Restaurant from the old oceanfront location to the new location at milepost 13 on the Outer Banks in 2006.  He and the Staff have never looked back.  In 2009, construction of the long awaited outdoor deck began and Mulligan's will reopen upon its completion in March 2009. Take a cool drink outside onto the 2,000 square foot deck and enjoy stunning sunsets overlooking Jockey's Ridge State Park. Enjoy nightly entertainment as you watch the sky change from blue to pink over the tops of the original cottages of historic Nags Head with the Atlantic Ocean behind them. The new outdoor deck, updated bar and dining area upstairs makes Mulligan's the premier destination restaurant on the Outer Banks.

The menu still has the "Best Burger on the Outer Banks" and you can still get it cooked any way you want and have virtually unlimited toppings to choose from. The most popular burger for both locals and visitors alike is by far the "Mulligan's Burger" topped with local crabmeat and crisp bacon. It is definitely "award-winning." The new raw bar menu is one of the best on the Outer Banks, featuring local oysters and clams offered steamed or raw all year round. Fresh steamed local shrimp and crab legs or any combination is available. Our new menu offers an array of seafood platters, hand-cut steaks and pasta dishes. The kids will LOVE to color the Kid's Menu and the parents will LOVE the PRICES - all Kids' Menu items are only $4.99! There is truly something for everyone. Don't forget to try the coconut shrimp with our homemade raspberry habenero sauce as either an appetizer or an entrée because it is Mulligan's Signature Outer Banks Dish.

Large separate dining areas allow us to cater to large parties from a family of twelve to a bus tour with a set menu for 50 or a rehearsal dinner for up to 150 guests. We will now have nightly entertainment from 6-9 pm on the deck in season with karaoke with "The Shy Guy" in the upstairs bar at 9 pm Wednesday thru Saturday. Ask your server about our daily drink specials and try our homemade sangria - house specialty!
